Manhattan

As this day draws to a close. Nine years onward since the tragic events of September 11, 2001, I made some observations. First, I must say that I have yet to turn on my television or visit any mainstream news websites or have been exposed to any what I was informed would be taking place in Manhattan today. I suspect some people chose to make this a day for leveraging the election season in one way or another. That is not what I am writing about now.

Nigel Fairs and Louise Jameson joins the famous or infamous game "just a minute' which has become a staple for DWNY originally made into a tradition at the annual Gallifrey One conventions by Paul Cornell.

I'm off to see Louise Jameson (Leela in Doctor Who). This may be the first time seeing her since I first met her in 1984, also in Manhattan at a convention there. She was the first person I believe I met directly connected to the long running television series.

It will be good to see her again.
